WordPress Developer
We’re looking for a motivated WordPress Developer who’s eager to work in a collaborative environment, willing to learn, and driven to produce clean, efficient, and scalable code. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain and improve Rank Math’s WordPress website, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience.
- Manage and optimize our WooCommerce setup, including integration with our payment gateway.
- Work on the required plugin changes and the custom theme used in our WordPress installation.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other developers to implement new features and updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website and plugin issues effectively with a solutions-oriented approach.
- Contribute to the growth and improvement of Rank Math’s online presence by sharing ideas and suggesting enhancements.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- WordPress Expertise: Deep understanding of WordPress CMS, WooCommerce, and theme development.
- React & JavaScript: Experience with JavaScript, including modern ES6+ standards, and React, particularly in Gutenberg block development.
- PHP Knowledge: Strong understanding of PHP for back-end development within WordPress.
- Clean Code: Familiarity with and commitment to WordPress coding standards.
- Debugging & Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with WordPress Gutenberg block development.
- Knowledge of SEO and familiarity with SEO tools or plugins.
- Proactive self-starter with a strong sense of responsibility and dedication to meeting deadlines.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to team-based projects.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
